Venice Art Walk and Auctions
Since 1979 the annual Venice Art Walk & Auctions has been raising funds for the Venice Family Clinic. An eagerly anticipated event blending Art Auctions, Architectural Tours, Food and Music, the Art Walk has offerings for the entire community.
We designed this new site for the Art Walk to be completely connected to Social Media. Using the popular Wordpress publishing platform, this site is easily maintained by the Art Walk staff. Adding entries to the Blog can be accomplished easily - and via Smartphone too. Further, each Blog entry is automatically published to all Social Media sites in use by the Art Walk.
Social Media isn't the wave of the future - its here now! This site allows the Venice Art Walk's web presence to expand over time. As other Social Media sites become popular, this site will be able to work with them.
Gay Men's Chorus of Los Angeles - GMCLA
The GMCLA public website uses the Joomla platform. We were brought in to 'bring it alive' after the site was published. Follow-on work has included publishing a youTube channel for the chorus, as well as integrating the site with Facebook and Twitter.
The published videos have been viewed over 540,000 times as of 03/28/11. Integration with Facebook Fan and Group pages and now Twitter ensures that the chorus is continuing to develop its online community.
Through a dedicated group of volunteers and paid consultants, this coordinated market development shows excellent results. Google Analytics shows traffic to the website increased 66% in the six month period (June 2010-December 2010) over the prior six months.
Mark Beall - Landscape Architect
Mark Beall is a prominent Landscape Architect in Los Angeles with projects that include Residential, Multi-family, and Educational properties. He has been featured on 'Landscaper's Challenge,' and in the press.
Our work began with a simple desire to add content to an older web site. Seeking a new image we worked with a brilliant graphics designer and created an entirely new design and 'look' for Mark's website.
CrossFit Palm Springs - Fitness for the Motivated
CrossFit Palm Springs is coaching in small group classes, using the CrossFit methodology. Classes are short, but intense.
The site uses an easy to update format and workouts, and photos, are added on a daily basis. The owner, TJ Morgan, is actively interested in
technology and has had great input into the look-and-feel of this site; lean and spare!
Dr. Mark Chung - West Hollywood Optometrics
Dr. Mark Chung is an outstanding Optometrist with a long-standing practice in West Hollywood. Originally the project was to simply update photography in the old site. We convinced him to refresh his online image.
Along the way we gave his site a clean, more contemporary look. We also added Social Media links to Facebook, Twitter, Reach Local, and Yelp - where West Hollywood Optometrics continues to gather very positive reviews.
Palm Springs Dentistry
Palm Springs Dentistry is a leading dental clinic in the Coachella Valley. This site is a complete make-over of the branding of their practice. The former site was all Black & White - this re-invention is much friendlier with its lighter color scheme and ease of navigation. Through a partership with BrightHaus Marketing, the site re-design was part of a collaborative effort to expand the Social Reach of the practice through the development of a Facebook page. Geiger Digital was also retained to shoot new photography for the site.
The Tuesday Nite Supper Club
The idea is so simple - get a group together every Tuesday evening at a different local restaurant; cocktails at 6:30, dinner at 7:30. Brian Vatcher and Mark Jones of Brighthaus Marketing have turned this concept into a profitable business.
Through this website, RSVP's can be made for that week's event. Member's reservations are stored and an Excel spreadsheet is generated with names, e-mails, and phones; allowing effortless check-in for each guest. Photos taken at events are uploaded to an account at Flickr and instantly appear on the website.
